If you’re holding a tournament on the continent, we’re confident you’ll have four key aspects to the brief; great golf, proximity to some nightlife, luxury accommodation and all within easy reach. Villa Padierna does more than just tick these boxes – it’s something special.
Part of the Ritz-Carlton group, the five star Villa Padierna Hotel is just 10 minutes from the centre of Marbella, amongst the hills with views out to the Mediterranean. The centre piece of the resort is a sumptuous 124 bedroom hotel built in the style of a Roman villa, complete with two luxurious pools and an exquisite Thermae Spa.

This wonderful resort now boasts two 18 hole championship courses; Los Flamingos and the Gran Flamingo. The former having hosted the Daily Telegraph European Seniors Match Play Championship from 2002 to 2004.

The striking design of the original Los Flamingos course stretches around all four sides of the hotel, which provides a beautiful backdrop together with a lake that comes in to play along the length of both the challenging 1st and 10th holes. Two tee starts are possible and it’s proved to be a great set up for Corporate golf.
The new Gran Flamingo course is considered a stiffer test, meandering up into the hills, with many narrow fairways and tricky ravines. However, combine it with a round on the Los Flamingos course and you’re in for a very memorable, luxurious break.

Thanks for creating such a wonderful site. this site was not only knowledgeable but also very stimulating too. The information that you have provided about golf resorts really like it.Thanks for taking time to discus this topic.
