The original 18 holes at Vila Sol twice played host to the Portuguese Open in 1992 & 93, and it’s rumoured to have the toughest opening four holes on the whole of the Algarve, but believe us, it’s still a pleasure to play. In 2005 Vila Sol added a beautiful 189 bedroom hotel, making it a perfect venue for a short golf break or a full blown corporate tournament. Well and truly worth the trip.
